cAR TINTING IN FRESNO: Film Options and Prices

A 4-door sedan runs $230 to $300 in carbon film or $330 to $450 in ceramic. SUVs, trucks, and Teslas are priced by vehicle in the matrix below. Every quote is free, and the price we confirm is the price you pay.

Carbon tint film

Classic deep-black look at the lower price. Cuts glare and adds privacy. Solid choice if your car lives in a garage most days.

Ceramic window film (HiTek)

Blocks noticeably more infrared heat and holds its color for years instead of fading purple. Heat rejection is where ceramic earns its price: it targets the infrared spectrum you feel on your skin. If your car bakes in Fresno sun all day, this is the comfort pick. Our take: worth the step up.

What tint does for your car

Cabin stays cooler in Valley heat. Less blasting the AC the second you get in.

Blocks UV that cracks dashboards and fades upholstery.

Cuts glare on Highway 99 at golden hour.

Privacy for whatever you keep in the back seat.

Holds shattered glass together on impact. Small thing. Matters when it matters.

california tint law, explained before you book

California has specific rules on how dark your front windows can be, and the rules differ by window. Because the limits differ between windshields, front side windows, and rear glass, and because Fresno police do write fix-it tickets for illegal tint, we check the current California Vehicle Code for your exact vehicle before every install. We walk you through the legal VLT percentages before you book, so there are no surprises and no tickets. If a shade you want is not street legal here, we will tell you straight and show you the closest legal option.

WINDOW TINTING FAQ

What is the darkest legal tint in California?

It depends on the window. Front side windows have a specific VLT limit under California law, and the windshield has its own rule. We check the current code for your vehicle type before every install and explain your legal options before you book.

How much does window tinting cost?

A 4-door sedan runs $230 to $300 in carbon film or $330 to $450 in ceramic. Larger vehicles cost more because there is simply more glass. The full matrix on this page covers every vehicle type, and every quote is free.

How long does it take for window tint to cure?

Give it 2 to 4 days. The film needs that time to bond fully to the glass. Fresno heat actually helps the curing along, which is one small favor our summers do for tint.

Can I wash my car after getting it tinted?

Wait a few days until the film has cured, then wash normally. On the inside of tinted windows, skip ammonia-based cleaners. They break down film adhesive over time. A damp microfiber does the job.

Is ceramic window tint worth it for Fresno's summer heat?

For a daily driver that sits outside, yes. Ceramic blocks significantly more infrared heat than standard dyed film, which is the heat you feel on your skin. Carbon looks great and costs less, but ceramic is the one people notice on a 105-degree afternoon.

What happens if I roll down my window right after tinting?

The film can peel or shift at the edges before the adhesive sets. That is why we say 2 to 4 days. If an edge does lift, bring it back. We fix our installs.
